The Upper Elementary Programme

An extension of the Lower Elementary program, the Upper Elementary program includes the 4th, 5th and 6th grade learners. At Sprouts Montessori, the Upper Elementary environment is specially curated to fulfil the developmental, psychological and social needs of this age group of children. The trained adult facilitates a social environment for these young learners, to allow them to collaborate and work at their individual pace. The children are encouraged to continue to work with the concrete materials, until they arrive at logical conclusions for abstract working.
